1. Who is responsible

The controller of this data is the entity operating Hanoi Padel Club:

2. What we collect

Only what you type into a form, plus two technical items.

• Newsletter form: first name, email address, playing level.
• Sign up: first name, last name, email address.
• Membership form: full name, email, phone, membership of interest, frequency, message.
• IP address: kept in memory for one hour, for rate limiting only.
• Page and language: which page and which language.

3. Why, and on what legal basis

• Newsletter: to tell you about the opening. Basis: consent.
• Membership request: to answer you. Basis: consent and pre-contractual steps.
• Rate limiting: to prevent abuse. Basis: legitimate interest.

We never sell, rent or share your data for advertising.

4. Who else sees it

Two service providers, and no one else:

• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France, EU) email delivery and newsletter list.
• Netlify (United States) hosting and form-handling function.

Email is encrypted in transit but not end-to-end.

5. How long we keep it

• Newsletter: TO CONFIRM 24 months, or immediately on unsubscribe.
• Membership requests: TO CONFIRM 36 months.
• IP address: one hour, in memory only.

6. Your rights

You can ask us, at any time, to:

• access and copy
• correct
• erase
• restrict or object
• portability

One email is enough. Every newsletter carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

7. Cookies and tracking

No cookies, no analytics, no advertising network.

• Language preference in local storage only.
• Fonts self-hosted, no third-party request.
• The rules video on the “New to padel” page only loads from YouTube, in privacy-enhanced mode, when you press play. Until then, nothing is sent to YouTube or Google.
